At Rustic Moves, our aim is to provide an independent service for the purchaser.

Over recent years, demand for quality houses has consistently exceeded supply and this trend will undoubtedly continue.

Our main strength, having been established for 30 years, is our network. We receive valuable knowledge of properties through our extensive contacts and are therefore able to achieve acquisitions on behalf of our clients, avoiding the fierce competition of other purchasers.

Following a successful negotiation, we will provide advice and recommendations on surveyors, solicitors, schools, builders and local artisans who we know offer a reliable service.

Working and bringing up children on the Somerset/Dorset border has given me a great insight into the housing market in the Southwest.

Greta Hillier founded Rustic Moves in 1996 and has since helped many buyers find the home of their dreams in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Greta is passionate about supporting buyers every step of the way. — Greta Hillier

Greta began her property career working for estate agents in London and moved to Dorset with her young family in 1989.

Having had a difficult time trying to find a house to buy in Dorset whilst living in London. She established Rustic Moves with the intention of making the process of buying a house in the country as stress free as possible. During the last 30 years, her extensive network of contacts has been pivotal in securing wonderful homes for her clients, London families moving to Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, and clients already living in the three counties who are upsizing or downsizing. Now living in Somerset and enjoying the rural aspects of the area, as well as the resurgence of art and music.

Rosa grew up in both Wiltshire and Somerset, which gave her an early appreciation for country life and character properties.

She started in the property industry straight after school, spending the next decade gaining experience working with both local agencies and London firms. Now at Rustic Moves, Rosa combines industry expertise with her knowledge of the Southwest counties to help clients seamlessly find their perfect home.

Finally we can advise on schools, interior designers, domestic help etc.

In what is probably the most competitive market we have seen for years, Greta achieved an incredibly successful outcome for us.
